Friendly meeting with the St. Petersburg branch of the Friendship society with Sri Lanka
On August 19, 2022 in Saint-Petersburg, in the international centre ‘More chaia’ (the Sea of tea), with the assistance of the Honorary Consul’s Office there was organised a friendly meeting of Her Excellency the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, Ms. Professor Janita A. Liyanage, with the members of the Board of the Friendship society with Sri Lanka in Saint-Petersburg, in the course of which were discussed the issues related to the renewal of air communication between Sri Lanka and the Russian Federation, international money transfers etc.
