The event was attended by more than 15 foreign students of various specialties. At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador welcomed the audience and noted that such meetings with representatives of the Sri Lankan Consulate in the North-Western Federal District of the Russian Federation are taking place not for the first time. During the meeting, issues in the field of Russian education and social protection of students were discussed, and at the end of the event, students were able to ask various questions to Ms. Professor Janita A. Liyanaga and representatives of the Consulate of St. Petersburg.
Students of St. Petersburg universities showed a keen interest in the meeting and thanked the participants for the dialogue.
