Participation of the Honorary Consul in the V Anniversary Global Fishery Forum and Seafood Expo Russia
At the invitation of the Deputy of the Federal Agency for Fishery V. Sokolov, the Honorary Consul V. Zakharian took part in the V Anniversary Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2022, held on 21-23 of September, 2022 at Expoforum, St. Petersburg. Within the framework of the forum there were discussed the issues of cooperation between Russian and Sri Lankan companies in the area of fishery, proposals for international cooperation under present-day conditions, current trends in the industry development and state regulations, modern solutions for the fishing industry, science and aquafarming, logistics and young specialists trainings. On the sidelines of the forum the Honorary Consul held a number of meetings with the heads of Russian enterprises on cooperation in the area of fishing industry. Over 8 thousand people and 400 companies from 19 regions of Russia and 13 countries participated in the largest event of the fishing industry in Russia.
